For over 47 years, the Asian Association of Utah has stood as Utah's cornerstone organization bridging cultures, transforming lives, and building pathways to self-sufficiency. As Utah's largest and only federally funded human trafficking victim service provider, and a vital force in refugee resettlement and support, our impact reaches across 24 of Utah's 29 counties through a network of 32 collaborative partners.
In 2024, our commitment to engaging, equipping, and empowering communities translated into tangible change:
- Supporting over 200 refugee youth across 5 afterschool sites
- Providing 10,000+ hours of English language instruction to 132 adult learners
- Delivering over 50,000 hours of interpreting services in 35+ languages
- Offering comprehensive mental health services to 480 clients
- Assisting 276 individuals through our refugee resettlement program
- Serving 942 victims of human trafficking
Our trauma-informed, culturally sensitive approach ensures that each individual—whether they are a refugee youth finding their path, a survivor seeking healing, or a family building a new life—receives the comprehensive support they need to thrive.
