Our Refugee Services team at Asian Association of Utah assists individuals and families achieve outcomes of substantive improvement, self-sufficiency, and thriving. Our linguistically sensitive and trauma-informed service is delivered by specialized staff who journey with each individual and family as they transition to life in Utah. Our specialized teams will work to ensure our clients are connected to all appropriate services through a holistic approach to services. After 25 years of extraordinary service, Sheri Bodily is retiring from the Asian Association of Utah (AAU), leaving behind a powerful legacy of compassion, leadership, and life-changing impact. As a dedicated English Language Learning (ELL) instructor and the longtime leader of the Adult ELL team, Sheri has helped thousands of refugees and immigrants build new lives through the power of language and education.

AAU's work with refugees, refugee youth, and human trafficking victims is trauma-informed and culturally sensitive. To remain effective we continually evaluate our training, processes, and systems to ensure we are having the greatest impact with our trauma affected clients.

AAU is hosting six-week series focuses on mental health while building stronger community connections among both male and female Afghan groups.
