As the need to understand long-term outcomes and make data-driven programming decisions increase, AAU promotes veteran leader, Megan Clark, as first Chief Impact Officer
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, January 28, 2026 — The Asian Association of Utah (AAU) is pleased to announce the appointment of Megan Clark, MPA, as its new Chief Impact Officer, a strategic leadership role focused on strengthening organizational impact through rigorous outcome measurement, program evaluation, and data‑driven decision‑making.
In her new role, Clark will lead AAU’s efforts to define, measure, and communicate the effectiveness of programs serving refugees, refugee youth, and survivors of human trafficking throughout Utah. By strengthening systems for outcomes and impact measurement, she will help ensure that AAU’s programs are responsive, effective, and aligned with community needs.
“Measuring outcomes and impact is essential to delivering programs that truly help individuals and families thrive,” said Scott Cougill, Executive Director of the Asian Association of Utah. “Megan brings a strong background in AAU’s diverse programs and turning data into actionable insight, allowing us to make informed decisions, improve services, and clearly demonstrate our impact to partners, funders, and the community.”
Her leadership will enable AAU to move beyond tracking outputs toward understanding long‑term outcomes and systemic change, including increased self‑sufficiency, economic stability, and community well‑being.
“Impact is not only about what we can measure, but about understanding what truly matters to the people we serve,” said Megan Clark. “I’m honored to step into a role that strengthens learning, supports responsible use of resources, and helps programs improve in ways that remain responsive to community needs.”
Clark’s appointment reinforces AAU’s commitment to transparency, effectiveness, and responsible stewardship. By integrating data and impact measurement across all levels of the organization, AAU aims to enhance program quality, deepen community trust, and expand its reach statewide.
