Family Art & Child Wellness Conversation for Child Abuse Prevention Month

Each year, our Parenting Team hosts a community event in recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month in April.
This year, we are excited to announce: Family Art & Child Wellness Conversation
This family-friendly event is designed to promote child well-being, strengthen families, and provide a safe space for learning and connection through creative activities and meaningful conversations.

What to Expect
  • Fun, hands-on art activities for all ages
  • Parenting and child safety education from professionals
  • A guided discussion on child safety facilitated by our very own therapist, Yvonne Mok, along with Fredy, Parenting Program Coordinator
  • Helpful tips and resources for families
  • Food and a relaxed, family-friendly environment
  • Opportunities to connect with other families
How You Can Support
  • Please help spread the word to families and encourage participation, especially among refugee and immigrant communities
This event is an important part of our efforts to raise awareness, support families, and prevent child abuse through education and community engagement.
