The Utah Asian Festival has grown to over 15,000 attendees who attend this family-friendly, one-day Festival to discover a diverse array of delectable cuisines from our 30+ food trucks/booths, 70+ booths featuring local artisans, educational cultural booths, Asian-owned businesses, mini health fair, and local nonprofits. And finally, they explore the captivating performance lineup, showcasing an enchanting blend of music, dance, martial arts, and cultural demonstrations.

Utah Asian Festival Returns This Saturday for Its 49th Year

The countdown is almost over! The 49th annual Utah Asian Festival is happening this Saturday at the Utah State Fairpark from 11 AM to 10 PM, and we can’t wait to celebrate with the community.

Hosted by the Asian Association of Utah, the Utah Asian Festival is one of the state’s largest cultural celebrations, bringing together more than 15,000 attendees each year for a full day of food, performances, art, and community connection.

Best of all, the festival remains completely free and open to everyone.

The Utah Asian Festiva is a celebration of heritage, storytelling, and community. It reflects the mission and history of the Asian Association of Utah, which was founded in 1977 when Salt Lake City’s Asian community came together to help resettle Vietnamese refugees. Today, AAU serves refugees, refugee youth, and survivors of human trafficking from over 100 countries.

While the organization has expanded over the years, the festival continues to honor the Asian communities and cultural traditions that helped shape AAU’s beginnings.

Be sure to visit the AAU tent during the festival. You’ll find us right in front of the entrance to the Grand Building. We’ll have special-edition festival fans available to help you stay cool, along with information about AAU programs, volunteer opportunities, and ways to get involved in supporting our community.

As the festival continues to grow, community support helps keep this event free and accessible to everyone. Our Utah Asian Festival Silent Auction is officially open and features something for everyone, including a Traeger grill, local experiences, dining packages, and even a Solitude staycation.
